Project Overview

Developed a self-initiated brand and campaign concept for Moonbase, a premium audio hardware brand built around a single sculptural speaker form. Explored how editorial-style photography and a restrained visual identity could position the product as an object of design rather than a piece of technology, letting the speaker's continuous curved shape carry the entire campaign.

Visual Design

Designed a minimal wordmark and colour system built entirely around the product's own materials and finish. The palette stays close to the hardware itself, deep charcoal, warm taupe and soft white, so the identity reads as an extension of the object rather than a layer applied on top of it.

Editorial Art Direction

Directed a set of macro and studio-style product shots that treat the speaker as a still-life subject. Framing, lighting and staging were used to isolate the form's curves and surface detail, giving the campaign an editorial tone closer to a design publication than a typical product advert.

Outcomes

The result is a cohesive campaign world where identity, photography and copy all point back to one idea: the shape is the sound. The exploration demonstrates how a hardware brand can build its entire visual language from the product's form alone, without relying on typical tech-brand conventions.
